Turks don’t mind a good party, and in this episode they share some of the holiday related festivals that happen in their neck of the woods. Also, they go to an exhibit about an excellent animated movie, and poke around NHK studios.

I really liked the saint patricks day parade in japan, but i think i recall seeing another mascott that was all, orange and this struck me as very ironic, becuase the orange color is representational of the prodestant religion, and is the ‘arch enemy’ of the traditional irish catholic. Maybe the japanese know this, and are just trying to bring together the two opposing groups and form on cohesive group that loves one another. Man those crazy japanese people are always trying to create peace in the world….

I want a shamrock-chan! There are definitely NOT enough hugable mascots in New York. And when you try to hug them here they sometimes run.
